technologically advanced log home in the world. Many dedicated people have been
involved with the design, drawing, scheduling and manufacturing of your log
system, to make sure it is of the very best quality. Your log home system will
arrive at your building site as truckloads of material, carefully prepared,
packaged and labeled. You’ll unload it with care and place the bundles around
your foundation.

Custom Builders.
We are an affiliated company to True North Log Homes, family owned and operated
in Ontario since 1987. Our goal is to provide you with a range of services to
help you make your log package into your log home, with all the care and
attention to detail that it deserves. They are so confident in their patents,
processes and people, that True North Log Homes will offer a 25-Year “Zero” Air
Infiltration Warranty on the log wall system when Keylock services are used.
Keylock offers four individual packages that a customer can choose from, as
illustrated below.

You may already have a
builder in your area who you trust to build your log home. He will be able to
work with you on all phases of your project, and may only need assistance with
the log wall system.
Your
Keylock T/A will provide these services:

Minimum 60 hours of
on-site technical assistance by one of our specially trained contractors (T/A)
in the assembly of components in
the log wall system, and all details related to settlement of the log
structure. “It’s like having an owner’s manual that talks to
you!”

Will confirm that the correct materials and components are used in the proper
way
•
Will provide you
with a representative from the manufacturer, to interpret all related
drawings, engineering details and material lists
•
Provide
instruction to the crew in the use of specialized tools and techniques to
construct an airtight log wall system, and how to deal with settlement of
log walls
•
Will save you time and money through the benefit of his experience. The T/A will
help your crew to
work at an efficient pace on a system they are not familiar with. They’re not
learning at your expense!

Will give you “peace of mind” with the knowledge that the log wall system was
built correctly
•
You will receive the 25-Year “Zero” Air Infiltration Warranty - at no extra cost
to you
Logs Only Package
You may have a builder in your area that you trust to arrange the foundation and build the frame portions of your home. He will install windows, doors, roofing, and interior finishes. However, he does not usually work on log structures. You can save time and trouble on your build by hiring a Keylock crew to build the log portion of the structure.
Your
Keylock Crew will provide these services:

Installation of sub-floor including supporting posts and beams as supplied by
TNLH (optional)
•
Installation of log wall system complete with all components
required
•
Installation of second floor beams if applicable
•
Installation of log top plates, ready for trusses
•
Prepare window openings, ready for windows and exterior
doors
•
Provide the specialized tools and techniques to assemble the log
system
• All
work is done with the care and attention to detail consistent with a high
quality product
• Will
give you peace of mind, knowing that the log wall system was built
correctly
• You
will receive the 25-Year “Zero” Air Infiltration Warranty - at no extra cost to
you
